About the position:
As our new Business Intelligence developer at our Data Analytics and Visualisations team, you will be engaged in exciting changes currently happening at Veolia in areas such as energy efficiency, waste management and recycling. Your role will be a broad one with a range of responsibilities; including being engaged in cloud architecture as well as transforming data into advanced analytics and reports. Furthermore, you will be integrating and optimizing the Google Cloud Platform towards continuously working with Data Lake and Data Studio.
In your new role as a BI developer you will work closely with both our global team as well as our business side to provide advanced analytics and data and help them with digitalisation and IoT initiatives.
Our technical environment includes Python (scripted in IDE and CLI environment), Google Cloud Platform, Cloud Dataflow, Cloud Firestore and BigQuery. In addition, you will be working with StandadSQL, SSIS, AWS Cloud9 and Amazon S3 Buckets.
Who are you?
We believe that you, as a candidate, have a solid knowledge in data visualisation, analytics, Python and data modelling. We also believe that you understand cloud computing architecture and that you have prior experience of at least one cloud platform, preferably GCP.
Our Data Analytics and Visualisations team is an international environment, so we think that you are fluent in both written and spoken English and that you have the ability to discuss numbers and results with other business areas and teams at Veolia. Fluency in Written and spoken Swedish is a merit.
A computer science or maths-based degree highly meritorious.
